What should I do if my water heater is leaking from the bottom?

Shut off the water and power, then call for service. A leak at the bottom can be from the drain valve, the T&P discharge line, or an internal tank issue. We service traditional, electric, power-vent, and tankless heaters in Watertown and the surrounding cities and towns. Same-day or next-day appointments are available. We can flush sediment, replace faulty valves, or quote a replacement with upfront pricing. Ask about $100 OFF water heater installation.

Quick steps:

  • Turn off the cold-water valve.
  • Gas: set control to Off. Electric: switch breaker Off.
  • Place a bucket and take photos.
